Who can use the database?
The database is available for use free of charge by specialist rheumatologists. Please apply to the SCQM Foundation for a user account: 043 268 55 77 or Upon request, SCQM Foundation staff will be happy to visit your institution to demonstrate how to use the database and benefit from its facilities.

Which patients can be included?
All patients with any of the diseases in the following list can be included in the Registry, irrespective of their therapy. The sole criterion for inclusion of a patient is their written Declaration of Informed Consent and competence in one of the three national languages (DE/FR/IT). Please give your patients full information on the project before including them in the Registry. For this, please use the Patient Briefing (DE/FR/IT). The following diseases can be documented in the SCQM Registry:

  • rheumatoid arthritis
  • axial spondyloarthritis
  • psoriatic arthritis
  • giant cell arteritis
  • polymyalgia rheumatica
  • undifferentiated arthritis

What data is collected?
Various different levels of data are collected, giving rheumatologists a broad base on which to arrive at assessments of disease profiles and help them with therapy titration.
